Rowing in Liverpool - for juniors, seniors and masters
We’re an open rowing club based in the heart of Liverpool. And we’re spoilt really.
We get to row down the docks and see the Albert Docks up close. And post session, we can head to either Rough Handmade for a croissant, or the Coburg for a pint (depending on the time of day of course).

We’re based in the Liverpool Watersports Centre in Queen’s Dock. We have a stretch of around 1.7km and a good stock of boats.
We do both sculling and sweep rowing, and have coaches on hand to help you achieve your goals, no matter what they look like.
Our committee and members work hard to make Mersey Rowing Club a welcoming, social and competitive environment. So, whatever you’re looking to get out of rowing, you can find it here.
Want to learn to row?
Good decision! We regularly run Learn to Row courses so sign up. Once you’ve completed your course, you can join our regular squads and train together.
